Convectional drying chamber for wood type-SD

It is used for drying of hard woods and coniferous trees of different thickness.

CONSTRUCTION:
According to the way of drying these are indirect drying chambers with forced convection. Fans for air circulation in the drying chamber are reversible with tropicalized engines. The body of the drying chamber is made of panels (metal) or of building material. Body of the panel (metal) drying chamber is made of sandwich packages and carrying construction. In the ceiling part of the drying chamber heating bodies are placed for heating the air, fans for circulation of the air as well as the systems for moisturising the wood. On the front and side part of the drying chamber there is heat insulated sliding door, and lifting of the door is done by mechanism with hydraulic cylinder. There is also a control door on the drying chamber for the visual control of the process of drying. A control box with kiln controller is placed on the drying chamber in a separate steal construction, with suitable equipment and cables.

CHARGING:
Charging is done manually or mechanised. Mechanized is done by carrying the raw material by fork lift or wagon. When charging with wagon a part of delivered equipment is wagon with rail path. Moving of the wagon is achieved by electrical power. 

HEATING BODIES:
For heating the air for drying two heating bodies are placed in the ceiling part. In heat exchangers as a heating fluid a hot water,steam or thermal oil is used. Exchangers are made of Al-Cu pipes.


REGULATION OF THE DRYING PROCESS:
Automatic regulation is done through the microprocessor device for leading the drying process. Software of the processor supports more than 100 different drying programs depending on the wood, moisture input and other features.

NOTE:
Dimension of the drying chamber in the table are variable and could be adopted to the dimension of the wood material. For bigger capacities, drying chambers are made by combining the types given in the table
